About Our Project

The thrust of this video documentary is a ten-year mentoring relationship between a talented black youth and an older white professional photographer. It culminates in the rise of a young star dancer, a father-son-like relationship and a creative collaboration in stunning and thought-provoking photographs.

The relationship of the Moving Star and the Mentor was cultivated through Kids-with-Cameras, and has flourished into a father and son bond that is everlasting.

The production company,

Sunhead Projects has worked with a wide variety of topics ranging from America's longest serving mayor to its oldest living blacksmith, a National Historic Landmark and a local homeless shelter.
